Named in honour of Eduardo Schmidt, a passionate lover of the Sierra de Guadarrama who contributed significantly to its development, this trail is a bridge between past and present, letting today's hikers walk in the footsteps of history.

At 13 kilometres long, the Camino Schmidt offers a unique experience for beginners and seasoned hikers alike. Along the way, this trail treats us to ever-changing landscapes, from dense pine forests to wide meadows that look straight out of a fairy tale.

One of the highlights of the trail is the shelter located at the halfway point. This spot not only offers walkers a breather, but also serves as a safe refuge for those who, for whatever reason, find themselves on the trail after dark.
