1. Your consent comes first

The first time you visit you will see a notice with three options: accept everything, accept only what is necessary, or choose category by category. Until you decide, no analytics or marketing cookies are activated: the default state is denied (Google Consent Mode v2).

Your choice is stored in your own browser for 12 months. After that you are asked again.

2. Necessary

Essential technical storage so the site works: remembering your language and your own decision about cookies. They cannot be turned off because without them the site cannot work, and they are not used to profile you.

3. Analytics

I use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to know which articles get read, which do not and where people come from. The data is aggregated and anonymous: it helps me decide what to write about, not to identify you.

These cookies are only activated if you accept them. If you reject them, Google only receives aggregated signals with no cookies or identifiers.

4. Marketing

Category reserved for campaign measurement and ad personalisation. There is no such tool active on the site today; if there ever is, it would only work with your explicit consent and would be detailed here.

5. Third-party cookies (affiliate links)

When you click an affiliate link, Amazon or Decathlon may set their own cookies to attribute a possible purchase. They are governed by each platform's policies, not by this site, and they are set on their domain, not mine. These cookies depend on your click, not on your browsing here.

6. How to change your mind

Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it: click "Cookie settings" in the footer and choose again. You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Blocking them does not affect reading the content.
